One year after the success of the first part of Front Mission, Square launched the successor Front Mission: Gun Hazard (also for SNES ) on the Japanese market. And in October 2007 a revised and translated version for the Nintendo DS was released in North America. In 2000 the game was translated (by fans) into English and in 2003 into German. In the following years, the game was then also used on other game platforms such as B. In addition, there are many different battlefields and a multitude of enemy bugs in the first part. The graphics are very good for its time and very detailed. Once a battle has been won, the Wanzer in a city can be repaired, upgraded, new weapons and armor purchased, new pilots recruited and much more. At the beginning of the storyline of Front Mission, the player has to choose between the two superpowers OCU and USN, in order to later fight the opposing Wanzer (the abbreviation for "migration tanks", see also Mecha ) on the battlefield.
